His soft white tunic protects his skin from the armor.  His black armor that is trimmed in gray protects his chest in a sword fight.  It fits around his chest and has strips of fabric that cover his tunic to his knees.

His grey cape is attached with antiqued silver shoulder guards with spikes.  He also has antiqued silver wrist guards on his forearms and shin guards also.  His silver helmet covers his entire face and head.

Venus means love in Latin.  She was enticing and captivating.  The Greek goddess Aphrodite stands for love also.  Julius Caesar adopted Venus as his ancestor.  Venus had a temple dedicated to her in Rome.

Venus seems to have been a household god and statuettes of her have been found in ancient houses.
She was used as a cult goddess.

Many nude statues of her are in the Roman culture.  She became a popular subject for paintings and sculptures in the Renaissance period.  She was used in Roman festivals and the Imperial cult activities.

Sparta or Laconia was a city-state in ancient Greece.  It became part of the Roman empire when Rome conquered Greece in 146 BC.  The Spartans were a fierce fighting force and were unequaled in the ancient world.  They had great wit.

When Phillip II sent this message to the Spartans, ”If I enter Laconia, I will raze Sparta to the ground!”  The Spartans sent back this terse reply, IF!
During the Roman conquest Spartans continued their way of life.  They welcomed the Romans to their country and the city became a recreational retreat for the Roman elite.  They came there to enjoy the Spartan customs.
